And she laid H5117 up his garment H899 by her, until H5704 his lord H113 came H935 home. H1004

And it came H1961 to pass, when his master H113 heard H8085 the words H1697 of his wife, H802 which H834 she spoke H1696 to him, saying, H559 After this H428 manner H1697 did H6213 your servant H5650 to me; that his wrath H639 was kindled. H2734

And Joseph's H3130 master H113 took H3947 him, and put H5414 him into H413 the prison, H1004 H5470 a place H4725 where H834 the king's H4428 prisoners H615 were bound: H631 and he was there H8033 in the prison. H1004 H5470

But the LORD H3068 was with Joseph, H3130 and showed H5186 him mercy, H2617 and gave H5414 him favor H2580 in the sight H5869 of the keeper H8269 of the prison. H1004

And the keeper H8269 of the prison H1004 H5470 committed H5414 to Joseph's H3130 hand H3027 all H3605 the prisoners H615 that were in the prison; H1004 H5470 and whatever H3605 H834 they did H6213 there, H8033 he was the doer H6213 of it.

The keeper H8269 of the prison H1004 H5470 looked H7200 not to any H3972 thing H3972 that was under his hand; H3027 because H834 the LORD H3068 was with him, and that which H834 he did, H6213 the LORD H3068 made it to prosper. H6743

And Pharaoh H6547 was wroth H7107 against H5921 two H8147 of his officers, H5631 against H5921 the chief H8269 of the butlers, H4945 and against H5921 the chief H8269 of the bakers. H644

And he put H5414 them in ward H4929 in the house H1004 of the captain H8269 of the guard, H2876 into H413 the prison, H1004 H5470 the place H4725 where H834 Joseph H3130 was bound. H631

And the captain H8269 of the guard H2876 charged H6485 Joseph H3130 with them, and he served H8334 them: and they continued H1961 a season H3117 in ward. H4929

And they dreamed H2492 a dream H2472 both H8147 of them, each man H376 his dream H2472 in one H259 night, H3915 each man H376 according to the interpretation H6623 of his dream, H2472 the butler H4945 and the baker H644 of the king H4428 of Egypt, H4714 which H834 were bound H631 in the prison. H1004

And Joseph H3130 came H935 in to them in the morning, H1242 and looked H7200 on them, and, behold, H2009 they were sad. H2196

And he asked H7592 Pharaoh's H6547 officers H5631 that were with him in the ward H4929 of his lord's H113 house, H1004 saying, H559 Why H4069 look H6440 you so sadly H7451 to day? H3117

And they said H559 to him, We have dreamed H2492 a dream, H2472 and there is no H369 interpreter H6622 of it. And Joseph H3130 said H559 to them, Do not interpretations H6623 belong to God? H430 tell H5608 me them, I pray H4994 you.

And the chief H8269 butler H4945 told H5608 his dream H2472 to Joseph, H3130 and said H559 to him, In my dream, H2472 behold, H2009 a vine H1612 was before H6440 me;

And in the vine H1612 were three H7969 branches: H8299 and it was as though it budded, H6524 and her blossoms H5322 shot H5927 forth; and the clusters H811 thereof brought H1310 forth H1310 ripe H1310 grapes: H6025

And Pharaoh's H6547 cup H3563 was in my hand: H3027 and I took H3947 the grapes, H6025 and pressed H7818 them into H413 Pharaoh's H6547 cup, H3563 and I gave H5414 the cup H3563 into H5921 Pharaoh's H6547 hand. H3709

And Joseph H3130 said H559 to him, This H2088 is the interpretation H6623 of it: The three H7969 branches H8299 are three H7969 days: H3117

Yet H5750 within three H7969 days H3117 shall Pharaoh H6547 lift H5375 up your head, H7218 and restore H7725 you to your place: H3653 and you shall deliver H5414 Pharaoh's H6547 cup H3563 into his hand, H3027 after the former H7223 manner H4941 when H834 you were H1961 his butler. H4945

But think H2142 on me when H834 it shall be well H3190 with you, and show H6213 kindness, H2617 I pray H4994 you, to me, and make mention H2142 of me to Pharaoh, H6547 and bring H3318 me out of this H2088 house: H1004

For indeed I was stolen H1589 away out of the land H776 of the Hebrews: H5680 and here H6311 also H1571 have I done H6213 nothing H3808 H3972 that they should put H7760 me into the dungeon. H953

When the chief H8269 baker H644 saw H7200 that the interpretation H6623 was good, H2896 he said H559 to Joseph, H3130 I also H637 was in my dream, H2472 and, behold, H2009 I had three H7969 white H2751 baskets H5536 on H5921 my head: H7218

And in the uppermost H5945 basket H5536 there was of all H3605 manner of bakemeats H3978 for Pharaoh; H6547 and the birds H5775 did eat H398 them out of the basket H5536 on my head. H7218

And Joseph H3130 answered H6030 and said, H559 This H2088 is the interpretation H6623 thereof: The three H7969 baskets H5536 are three H7969 days: H3117

Yet H5750 within three H7969 days H3117 shall Pharaoh H6547 lift H5375 up your head H7218 from off H5921 you, and shall hang H8518 you on H5921 a tree; H6086 and the birds H5775 shall eat H398 your flesh H1320 from off H5921 you.

And it came H1961 to pass the third H7992 day, H3117 which was Pharaoh's H6547 birthday, H3117 H3205 that he made H6213 a feast H4960 to all H3605 his servants: H5650 and he lifted H5375 up the head H7218 of the chief H8269 butler H4945 and of the chief H8269 baker H644 among H8432 his servants. H5650

And he restored H7725 the chief H8269 butler H4945 to his butlership H4945 again; H7725 and he gave H5414 the cup H3563 into H5921 Pharaoh's H6547 hand: H3709

But he hanged H8518 the chief H8269 baker: H644 as Joseph H3130 had interpreted H6622 to them.

Yet did not the chief H8269 butler H4945 remember H2142 Joseph, H3130 but forgot H7911 him.

And Jacob H3290 blessed H1288 Pharaoh, H6547 and went H3318 out from before H6440 Pharaoh. H6547

And Joseph H3130 placed H3427 his father H1 and his brothers, H251 and gave H5414 them a possession H272 in the land H776 of Egypt, H4714 in the best H4315 of the land, H776 in the land H776 of Rameses, H7486 as Pharaoh H6547 had commanded. H6680

And Joseph H3130 nourished H3557 his father, H1 and his brothers, H251 and all H3605 his father's H1 household, H1004 with bread, H3899 according H6310 to their families. H2945

And when money H3701 failed H8552 in the land H776 of Egypt, H4714 and in the land H776 of Canaan, H3667 all H3605 the Egyptians H4714 came H935 to Joseph, H3130 and said, H559 Give H3051 us bread: H3899 for why H4100 should we die H4191 in your presence? H5048 for the money H3701 fails. H656

And Joseph H3130 said, H559 Give H3051 your cattle; H4735 and I will give H5414 you for your cattle, H4735 if H518 money H3701 fail. H656

And they brought H935 their cattle H4735 to Joseph: H3130 and Joseph H3130 gave H5414 them bread H3899 in exchange for horses, H5483 and for the flocks, H6629 and for the cattle H4735 of the herds, H1241 and for the asses: H2543 and he fed H5095 them with bread H3899 for all H3605 their cattle H4735 for that year. When that year H8141 was ended, H8552 they came H935 to him the second H8145 year, H8141 and said H559 to him, We will not hide H3582 it from my lord, H113 how that our money H3701 is spent; H8552 my lord H113 also has H413 our herds H4735 of cattle; H929 there is not ought left H7604 in the sight H6440 of my lord, H113 but our bodies, H1472 and our lands: H127

Why H4100 shall we die H4191 before your eyes, H5869 both H1571 we and our land? H127 buy H7069 us and our land H127 for bread, H3899 and we and our land H127 will be servants H5650 to Pharaoh: H6547 and give H5414 us seed, H2233 that we may live, H2421 and not die, H4191 that the land H127 be not desolate. H3456

And Joseph H3130 bought H7069 all H3605 the land H127 of Egypt H4714 for Pharaoh; H6547 for the Egyptians H4714 sold H4376 every man H376 his field, H7704 because H3588 the famine H7458 prevailed H2388 over H5921 them: so the land H776 became H1961 Pharaoh's. H6547

And as for the people, H5971 he removed H5674 them to cities H5892 from one end H7097 of the borders H1366 of Egypt H4714 even to the other end H7097 thereof.

Only H7535 the land H127 of the priests H3548 bought H7069 he not; for the priests H3548 had a portion H2706 assigned them of Pharaoh, H6547 and did eat H398 their portion H2706 which H834 Pharaoh H6547 gave H5414 them: why H5921 H3651 they sold H4376 not their lands. H127
